bought one of the most expensive mattresses and used a box spring to support it. Had standard support with 3 wooden slates. In 6 months, center dropped 2 inches. The inspector said everything was correct. The company warrant voided because they say wooden slates require 5 and metal only 3. I am not sure how a box spring is not supporting the mattress and the box spring is supported by the slates. No one to talk. So good luck. Your own your own.
